Dr. Steven Wong

A fluke accident brought Chinese medicine into Steven’s life. He was hit by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the NY interstate, and although he didn’t break any bones, his left hand was injured on the steering wheel. Within hours his left hand ballooned up to the size of a large grapefruit. It took about a week for the swelling to go down, but the tenderness remained indefinitely. Since the hand wasn’t broken, there was little western medicine could do. So Steven tried acupuncture and herbal medicine for the first time, and was cured after the first treatment. That led him on a journey that took him across the world for over a decade to learn this unique form of medicine.
